Pursue the Penant is the producer of a tabletop baseball game by the same name. Puruse the Penant was so in depth and statistically accurate back in 1998, that when the company stopped producing the game, the fans took it upon themselves to continue creating materials for the game and updating the rules and mechanics which resulted in the formation of the Internet Baseball League. This also led to the original game designer to re-develop the PTP into a new game called Dynasty Baseball League.
