Heroic Journey Publishing was started in 2008 by Mark Reed as a place for small independent writers to have support in publishing their own works. Placing high standards on the company to help these people navigate the world of self-publishing, HJP allowed writers to have representation but maintain control of their intellectual property. In 2009 Mark partnered with Chris Perrin who brought Mecha in the fold. HJP has grown and most recently in 2013 brought David Moore and Wayne Humfleet on board as partners. Heroic Journey Publishing is still commited to creating and publishing great games and has a heavy focus in the anime real.
