John Capps is a retired school teacher who has been playing role playing games since 1973. In 1991, he opened his own company Capps Games and began the year at GAMMA convention in Baltimore, Maryland. For the next three years, he toured the east coast demonstrating his games and developed a wide fan base. At their peak , they had thirty-four products for sale, with thirty of those created by him.
