Founded in 1972, Boston Publishing Company, a division of Strategic Communications, Inc., has long been recognized as a leading publisher of history books, with a focus on American, world, and architectural history. Their most notable publication, The Vietnam Experience, a 25-volume historical series documenting the Vietnam War, was twice nominated for a Pulitzer Prize.
Boston Publishing Company has since expanded its horizons to include the publication of corporate histories, and has produced official histories for General Motors Corporation, the United States Olympic Committee, the Congressional Medal of Honor Society, and Operation Sail.
