Space Gamer Magazine (Various Publishers) Role Playing Games

The Space Gamer started as a 16-page digest sized publication first published by Metagaming in 1975. Over the years it would grow into a full-sized magazine and become the source for science-fiction and fantasy gamers. Steve Jackson took over publication in 1980 and things only got better. Seventy-six issues were published before the magazine was sold to DTI in 1985, and later to Better Games in 1990.
