Blood of Heroes, The

Blood of Heroes is a super-hero and super-villain role-playing game that uses M.E.G.S. (Mayfair's Exponential Gaming System), which first appeared in Mayfair's now discontinued DC Heroes Role-Playing Game 2nd and 3rd Edition, as the core game system. M.E.G.S. is a simple, yet highly adaptable system, perfect for playing high-powered supers. In fact, we think it's the best game system in the super gaming genre! With our quickstart section, you can be playing the same night you pick up the book.

Character creation is fast and easy, and using the point-based character creation system, you can design any character imaginable! Simply choose your Attributes, Powers, Advantages and Drawbacks, flesh out your character's background and you're ready to go. Blood of Heroes also allows Players to take the roles of Villains in lieu of Heroes, and for who can't make up their minds, there are anti-heroes who fall in the gray area between the two! For pick-up games on-the-fly, you can use any of over a hundred illustrated characters also included in the rulesbook. The characters who populate the Blood of Heroes universe range from the "Avengers/JLA" style members of Shadow Force and the Collective to the super-powerful, godlike, "Jack Kirby-esque" Atlantian Lords.

The entire Blood of Heroes setting is detailed enough to provide a fun and interesting campaign, but the system is also easily adapted for you to create your own universe!
