Description

The Holy Artifacts of the Sacred Tragedies is a set of three one-sheet adventures for use with Mörk Borg. The adventures detail the powers and locations of artifacts made from the remains of the Sacred Tragedies. Each adventure can be played as a single session, inserted into a campaign, or combined to create a campaign story arc.

Foresight for Sore Eye takes place in a remote mountain outpost where the fabled two-eyed cyclops lurks. As the artificer of the Holy Artifacts of the Sacred Tragedies, he keeps the stolen Försyn, a club made of femur bone that grants the bearer foresight. Fight your way to his chamber and win your prize, or petition the two-eyed cyclops for a glimpse of your future… for a price.

Vault of Mother’s Tears explores the resting place of Tvillingbett, a wicked dagger made from the tooth of a basilisk that always strikes its victim twice. Nestled deep in the temple of Her Midwives, preserved in the Vault of Mother’s Tears and protected by a monstrous construct; this Holy Artifact is the last treasure of the heretical sect. The High Midwife seeks to recover the two missing artifacts, while other leaders of the The Church of the Two-Headed Basilisk strive to humiliate and depose her. Retrieving the fang might be your greatest labor yet.

Drowned in Sorrow chronicles the fate of the first High Midwife, Ninhursag. She championed the faith of The Church of the Two Headed Basilisk as a brutal inquisitor with iron and fire. Donning The Armor of Her Lamentation in battle after battle, Ninhursag finally fell in combat and the Holy Artifact was lost. Search the Swamp of Sorrow for the missing armor, but beware — those who meet the Ghost Mother in the depths are never seen again.
