Description

In 1870, former Civil War general, William Jackson Palmer, came to Colorado with the Kansas Pacific Railroad (which he connected to Denver) and a dream. HE planned to build a railroad form Denver to Mexico City. That didn't happen due to an economic downturn and competition form other railroads. Almost ten years later, he ended up building ribbons of steel between Denver and Alt Lake City.
