I Am Furious (Pink) is a dramatic storytelling game where you play through the events of one terrible day, dealing with the worst that your opposition can throw at you, and then—reborn with the power of a goddess—retrace your path to unleash supernatural vengeance or bestow mercy on those who did you wrong.

At its most fantastic, the game may resemble a big-budget superhero franchise, where you transform into a black-winged Fury with a glowing blade and strike down your enemies. However, to reach that peak you start with smaller scenes like escaping a prison, avenging a murder, restoring a lost treasure, or more realistic play exploring the darker sides of your family, romantic, business, or other relationships.

The Rules: The game includes six character stats, as well as edges, hindrances, gear, and powers, but is primarily a freeform game for experienced players who enjoy heavily narrative games, often without a GameMaster. You and the other players choose the scenes you’re interested in as the story progresses, taking turns improvising the scenes, building the story and playing the Opposition—though you can designate a GM if you prefer.

The Settings: The base setting is a near-future urban sprawl, but other settings (western, noir, medieval, modern, and more) are included, along with examples of appropriate gear. You can easily set your game in other worlds and times as well, all without modifying the basic rules!

Themes: This game welcomes all players, with an obvious empathy for persons who have experienced a life-changing transition revolving around their gender, sex, body, and/or relationships. In fact, this game was partly inspired by I Am Curious (Yellow), a controversial 1967 Swedish film about a young woman attempting to understand the social and political conditions around her while exploring her own sexual identity.

Content: This game is a complete narrative tabletop rpg contained in a digest-sized (5.5"x8.5") format of a compact 24 pages with covers, bookmarks and alternate text for image accessibility.
