Description

300: Greco-Persian War is a strategy game that recreates the 50-year war that began with the Ionian revolt in 499 BC. The Greek coalition, centered on Athens and Sparta, must counter the Persian Empire, which boasts overwhelming military power, with its "quality" such as heavy infantry, triremes, and excellent leaders.

However, city-states are not monolithic. He might give in to King Bersia's threats and offer up ``land and water,'' or he might betray Athens at a crucial point.

These various historical events are recreated using cards, and the familiar spectacular battle scenes from movies such as ``300'' are recreated on the board.

If you were King Leonidas of Sparta, what kind of defense strategy would you use to challenge the Persian army? Or, if you were King Xerxes, would you attack by land as in history, or would you attempt an invasion across the ocean like the previous king, Darius? This is a game that can be enjoyed by everyone, from first-time wargamers to veterans, even if you have no knowledge of ancient warfare.
