Description

Once upon a time there was a child who saved the world of fairy tales and received a wish as a reward.
He Who Plots in the Shadows clouded the child's innocent heart, so the child asked the King of Fairy Tales to give new life to the villains, giving them a chance at redemption.
But every light needs his shadow, and so it was that the bad became the good and the good, in retaliation, became the bad. And all the fairy tales were shattered

Broken Tales is a role-playing game that revisits classic fairy tales in a dark key, completely overturning their premises. The Players are part of the mystical Order, a secret group that operates on behalf of the Papacy and investigates events and threats beyond human understanding. Eighteenth-century Europe, reinterpreted through a Gothic lens, is the backdrop to unusual heroes: fairy tale villains, protagonists of a new reality shaped by the desire of the Child Savior.
