Note that Tactics Magazines did not originally ship with mounted counters, as sheets were sold separately via mail order and often contained counters for multiple issues. Despite that, a number of games included paper outlines of counters to be photocopied and used with the included rules and maps.

Tactics Magazine was published by Hobby Japan and was initially focused on classical war simulation games. It eventually branched out into tabletop RPGs in its later issues. Tactics still holds the highest distinction of being Japan's first dedicated wargaming magazine, making it historically important to the wargaming hobby, and incredibly scarce.
