The Spitfire is the masterpiece fighter that represented the Royal Air Force during World War II. In order to counter the Luftwaffe's new Focke-Wulf Fw 190, which appeared over the English Channel in September 1941 and seized air superiority from the Royal Air Force, the main type Mk. The Mk. The Mk. IXc, which was equipped with a C-wing that carried two 20mm machine guns and four 7.7mm machine guns, was deployed as early as July 1942, and its maximum speed of 669km/h and superior high-altitude performance overwhelmed the Fw 190. The Mk. IXc not only led the British forces to an advantage in the war, but was also the mainstay of the Royal Air Force from the middle of the war onward, with approximately 5,500 aircraft produced, the second largest production number in the series.
