Description

Please note that this is a DTP (Desk Top Publishing) game designed on a desktop computer and all components, including the counters which will have to be cut and mounted, are printed on paper. These are designed by some very well-known designers and are a low cost alternative to today's professionally produced games. On rare occasions, some of these games are reproduced by other companies with higher quality components including die-cut counters but most of them are not. If you believe this game to have a professionally produced version, please contact us with your inquiry and we will help you to locate it if it does indeed exist.

DIVINE WIND covers the Japanese Operation C in 1942 in the Indian Ocean. Operation C is an alt-historyhistory game. All previous games on the subject have never included the actual invasion as planned on Ceylon, a British held island that was key for its location along allied shipping lanes. The game covers this if players wish, or, they can choose the historical route, which was to send their carriers to destroy what remained of the Royal Navy. It uses my system published in the ATO game, War in the Agean 1943, and this game may also be published by ATO if enough votes come (so please, go to their website and vote for it!).

Game scale is 50 miles a hex, 1 day turns, individual ships and carriers, air squadrons, ground units are regiment.

One 11x17 map, 280 counters, rules, charts.
