Description

Both of the adventures in this book are designed to serve as introductions to the world of Rubble and Ruin. They are simple “rubble crawls” that require both tactical thinking and attention to detail. Together they can serve as a starting point to bring a party of prospectors together before heading off on an adventure of the GMs design.
Under the L is a short adventure designed to be played in one session. The setup is simple: the adventurers are prospectors working for the New Chicago Reclamation company. NCR prospectors have found many paths into the Rubble, and along one they noticed a hollow space where rubble and debris failed to collapse completely--it appears that the elevated train tracks, the L, created a tunnel heading into a particularly tall rubble pile. The PCs have been given salvage rights to anything they can clear out of the hole.
The Claim: Roosevelt and the River. This is a prospecting adventure for 4 to 6 starting characters. The player characters are a team of prospectors working with New Chicago Reclamation. They are given a claim to work--the area just north of the old Roosevelt Avenue east of the Chicago River. Here they will find both valuable Old Tech and creatures guarding it.
