Valiant's son Arn joins a mission to investigate a Saxon war party, and to find out more, he joins the war party itself as a ruse. Wanting Aleta for himself, Count Brecey tries to have Val killed in tournament, and when that fails, he just kidnaps her. Valiant and Arn are enlisted as warrior-diplomats when King Arthur needs to unite the various kingdoms to repel a Saxon invasion.
