Description

This is a Polish language game and contains no English components unless stated in condition notes.

The game covers the history of the First Polish Republic from the reign of the Jagiellonian dynasty and wars with the Teutonic Order, until the partitions of Poland in the 18th century. Each player takes on the role of the leader of one of the main magnate families of that time.

The player, as the head of a magnate family, will have crowds of noble clientele ready to act on his orders. At the beginning of each turn, players decide where they will send obedient nobles. With their help, players will recruit troops, send armed expeditions, gain power at regional councils, and gain political advantage at the King's court. Noblemen are a player's most valuable resource and must use them wisely.

The prestige of the family will be influenced by the fame gained in battles, even if the fought wars are not always won. The prestige of a given family will also increase thanks to the funding of cities, colleges, increasing the number of latifundia, and spending on luxury goods. The player whose House earns the most prestige points for the above-mentioned achievements wins the game.
