Great War at Sea Vol 6: 1898, The Spanish American War is a Operational and Tactical level game of the 1898 Spanish American Naval War that began when the United States erroneously blamed Spain for the destruction of the U.S.S. Maine and ended with the twin battles of Manilla Bay and Santiago where the remnants of Spanish naval power was destroyed. America's first "newspaper" war, the Spanish American war pre-saged the bloody Russo-Japanese conflict and charted the course for the United States' two ocean strategy. Every ship that fought for the U.S. and Spain are here plus a number of additional ships for what if scenarios. Single ship counters for Battleships, Armor Cruisers. Smaller ships are portrayed in two, three, and four ship squadrons.
