Many, many years ago. When the land was wilder and its people more savage, there came out of the north a man spoken of in the legends of Wildland. No one knows what life he had lived up to that point, some say he came from the Great Ice Plains whilst others yet say that he came to us from the otherwordly realm of Helgardh Helgardh. However it may be, he came. His name was Bodvar Bjorki and he was the greatest warrior and conqueror that the Stormlands has ever seen. In the heart of winter, Bodvar Bjorki made a pact with the Chaos Gods. He called out to the powers of death and destruction and they answered him. He gave them his soul, hist heart and his service in eternal torment. After that none could stand against Bodvar.

After a whole life of victories and conquests, Bodvar Bjorki died and came before the Chaos Gods to grant them his soul and they swallowed it whole. The gods made the old frost warrior their herald in the world of mortals, to wander upon Trudvang and spread their chaos as a stranger, a lone wanderer. To plant seeds of evil in the cradles of innocence. But the Chaos Gods never counted on Aelda of the Wolf Woods and her love for the old king – and the bravery of ancient heroes.

Frostbitten is a magical winter tale set in the primordial times of Wildland. It is a tale of love, betrayal, loss and adventure into ancient crypts and forgotten icy graves.

The characters seek to lift a curse by uniting two ancient and tormented spirits. Should they fail, they will be consumed by winter and lost forever.
