Scum - The Food Chain Game

Here's your chance to move up the food chain! Scum is a fast-paced game that'll bring out your wildest instincts. Set in the Savanna, each round is a struggle for survival and dominion over the animal kingdom. The object is to get rid of your hand of cards as fast as you can. The sooner you play your cards, the higher you go up the food chain in the next round, and the farther you move around the board. After each round, the players line up in order of the new food chain. Of course, the players at the top of the food chain in each round get to trade their worst cards for the best cards dealt to the "scum" at the bottom. By winning hands, you get to determine which cards will be played next as you execute your cunning strategy. If you play your cards right, you could become king of the beasts. But one wrong move, and you could end up as lowly scum! Beware of surprise "evolutions," where someone plays four cards of a kind. When that happens, card values become reversed, and it may take more than your instincts to save you. The first player to reach the end of the board is the winner. Remember, it's a jungle out there, and only the fittest will survive!
