The proud descendants of the men who were once the lords and masters of the entire continent, now fight to regain power. These Native American warriors have thrown off the noose of enforced servitude to the United States. No longer does the Warrior Nation allow others to take from them the land of their ancestors. Confronting the twisted science of tomorrow with the purity of the Earth, the Warrior Nation has taken up the mantle of protector of the land, and will stop at nothing to eradicate this new threat.

The times they are a changin’ and it is up to every citizen of the West to stand up and defend what is theirs (or take what’s someone else’s). In the heart of this dangerous world can be found the Ladies of the West. Never to be underestimated, these skilled warriors are the equal or better of most of the men that cross their path! Many a shootout has been won due to the quick thinking and actions of one of these deadly femme fatales.

The story of Little Claw is a story of the cruelty of fate and the nature of the human heart. A Hunkpapa Lakota, like her father Iron Hawk, Little Claw has no love for the Union. Like many of the youth in the tribe she has found herself drawn to the heroes of the Warrior Nation. Yet each time she felt she had finally found a kindred spirit or soul mate, fate intervened in the most pernicious of ways. Too many times has Little Claw mourned the death of a lover as they have fallen to the rifles or bayonets of the Union. General Custer has himself been responsible for the deaths of two of her suitors and for that has earned himself a death-mark in Little Claw's eyes. Now Little Claw no longer allows herself to love. Instead she stands apart from these heroes, admiring them from afar for fear that should she get too close the cold hand of death will claim yet another hero and her heart might finally shatter into a million pieces.
