This is a piece of Vampire esoterica that will never be available again. There is no way to get closer to the game's original development short of time travel. This draft was one of the very few editing drafts that was ever printed given to only a few of the people who were at White Wolf from the very beginning. It includes a signed letter from Ken Cliffe, former Vice President at White Wolf Publishing, verifying its authenticity.

From the very cover page it can be seen that it is part of the evolution of the game, from the scratched out sub-title (apparently it wasn't always The Masquerade), to the frequent reference notations to notes that the designers kept, you can see clearly that the game evolved from this simple stack of sheets. Especially interesting is a selection of quotes included as an appendix that the designers might have included for feel and inspiration.

The physical quality of the pages falls generally into the VG+ range. Primarily it is the page edges that have taken the beating, while the text area of the pages remains EX or better.
