Samuel's House (Pre-Painted)

Rebecca Dewey has lived quite a life. Born in Helena, Montana her father had already said farewell to his young wife before she was born and she was three before the father she had yet to see, sold up his holding in Montana and called for his wife and daughter to come join him down in Bitter Creek where he and his partner were now established in the hardware business. Life seemed just peachy up until her Ma died giving birth to her brother Zachariah and sadly he followed their mother before he had even reached three years old.

Two years after that her Pa's business partner was shot late one night outside their store, A & D Hardware. Old man Dewey called it quits sold up his store to a man named Whitby or Wheatley from Dead Man's Hand. So then for her a new life started in a peaceable little place with a peaceable name, 'Smallbrook' Illinois.

In Smallbrook her pa started up with a new hardware and dry goods store. He built a fine business serving locals and passers-by heading on up Chicago Way and those coming the other way from the Windy City. Those were the golden years for Becca, her father was happy and she was courted and eventually married a fine man by the name of Samuel Hodder. Her and Sam had two sons and both Sam Jnr. and his brother Zac grow up to be well respected in the community.

Nowadays not many folks remember old Ma Hodder's husband though her sons who run Samuel's Garage and Good's Store are well known for all the wrong reasons here about.
