Description

What is a Dice Ring?

Dice rings are new and original kind of spinner ring. A spinner rings is built in a way that an outer ring spins smoothly in the groove on a larger inner ring, which is worn on the finger. Dice Rings are special because they have a pattern and indicators laser etched on them, so that you can spin the rings to get a random result.

Dice rings are functional, which means they can actually take the place of dice, or emulate other random result generators.

Features

Statistically Fair Rolls - Dice rings can functionally take the place of dice. The surface area of the numbers or symbols are distributed across the outer spinning band in such a way that matches the probability curve of a random event. The rings are perfect circles, so when you spin them it has an equal chance of landing anywhere on the circumference of the ring.

Portable - You can take dice rings anywhere. No worries about rolling them into a heater duct or losing them to a hungry pet. They will stay firmly attached to your hand. Unless you’re a zombie… then no guarantees.

Occupies Idle Hands - It is an awesome accessory to occupy idle hands and calm your mind. Spinner rings (also called worry rings) are frequently used as a stress relief tool, and are beloved by people with ADD everywhere. They have also been used to reduce nail-biting and other bad habits by keeping your hands busy.

Made from Stainless Steel - These rings are made from the highest quality 316L stainless steel, a very strong and durable alloy that resists scratches, dents, and unorthodox abuse (troll punching). Like most other jewelry (even gold), it is an alloy. This type of steel contains 10-14% Nickel. For anyone who does not have a sensitivity to Nickel, these rings will be perfect for you.

Durable Color Coating - The colors are infused into the surface of the Dice Rings through a chemical process called Pressurized Vapor Deposition. The color becomes part of the surface of the steel, which means it won't rub off, fade, peel, or chip. It could potentially be scratched in ways that would scratch stainless steel, but if you take care of it, it will last as long as you do!

No Bearings or Lubricant - The inner and outer rings have no lubrication between them, nor do they need any. They have no bearings or small parts that wear down over time. The rings are simply smooth steel bands held in smooth steel grooves. If they get dirty or gritty, just wash them in soapy water. No need to clean them with harsh chemicals, alcohol, or WD40! Just submerge them in warm soapy water, and firmly rub the spinning band against the groove to polish out stuck-in crud.

How to get your rings to spin Amazingly!

The first thing you should do when you get your rings: wash them in warm soapy water. The rings can have dust and debris in them from the manufacturing process, which is very easy to clean out.
We find it best to make a big bowl of soapy water, submerge the rings, and spin them underwater. Try gripping the spinning bands while they're under, and grind them against the inner groove. You may have to apply a good amount of pressure. The idea is to use the outer bands to grind/polish the grit out of the inner groove, then rinse thoroughly. Some rings may need more work than others. Use dish soap for the best results, since it does not leave a residue.

What if it lands between 2 faces?

If it lands on the line, always go with the face above the line. If you do this every time, it is statistically fair.
