Mythic Britain is an extensive setting and campaign for Dark Ages adventure in the Britain of Arthur. Abandoned by Rome, betrayed by Vortigern, riven by Uther Pendragon, the Britain of 495AD is a place of strife. Tribes feud amongst each other and the east of the island is now held by the fearsome Saxons. Mythic Britain takes place against this backdrop. Magic is real, but so too are the clashes of shield walls. Pagans struggle against the rising and spreading of Christianity. Warlords plot and scheme and, all the while, Merlin plans to bring-back the Old Gods by collecting Britain's 13 Treasures.
