Description

Fighting Eagles is an introductory level wargame that uses a simple game system to simulate the air battles of 1918 fought between the Allied and German air forces. The game not only covers classic duels between these "pioneers of aerial combat" but also comes with scenarios for balloon busting, bombing and strafing!By the last year of the “War to end all wars” success in the skies above the Western Front was an increasingly vital ingredient to any battle’s outcome. Aerial warfare had become much more than a contest between individuals that played out not only above the trenches but the newspaper headlines of both sides. Commanders of growing aerial fleets of aircraft engaged their opponents in ever larger aerial campaigns whose intricacy and deadliness grew with each month. Players will need a standard deck of cards and one six-sided die (D6) to play the game. For all who play Fighting Eagles, learn and enjoy!Contents:
  • One, 8½" x 11" map
  • 39 color, single-sided unit counters
  • 3 page Rules Booklet
