Description

A module printed exclusively in the United Kingdom by TSR UK. Using the 1986 National Garden Festival as its theme, this module was sold both at that festival, and at the 1986 Games Day RPG convention at the Royal Horticultural Society Hall in London (hosted by Games Workshop that Saturday, September 27th).

The module uses the actual map of the National Garden Festival event, held at Stoke on Trent (presumably where the code "ST" comes from), and translates such features as the parking lot into a "grey wasteland surrounding the universe". It is composed of a wrap-around cover (that bears the full-color map) and a 16-page booklet with a 4-page pull-out section. It contains three new monsters: the Iffanbutt, Shadow Wolves, and the Snap Dragon. The adventure itself is humorous and whimsical (similar to the style of Dungeonland and Land Beyond the Magic Mirror).

This is one of the rarest, obscure, and most valuable TSR modules, mainly due to its extremely limited availability (only at the UK convention) and small print run (speculated at 250-500).

This module is graded at Fair/VG+. The cover is graded Fair due to the coffee mug stain shown in the picture. The cover, front and back, also shows moderate shelf wear in the form of spine creasing, corner wear, and general surface wear such as small scratches and color wear. The interior map is generally crisp & clean but does have a few smudge spots around the edges very similar in size and color as the smudge shown in the upper right corner of the interior booklet.

The interior booklet is in very solid shape with minor corner wear. There is a smudge in the upper front cover of the booklet that is shown in the picture. There is a very slight tear on the last page of the booklet that measures just under 1/8" (.3cm). This starts at the outside edge of the page, approximately 1/3 of the way up from the bottom, and moves inward. There are a couple of very minor spines creases as well. All interior pages are crisp and free of markings except for a very minor amount of staple rust in the middle of the booklet. Minus the smudge and the small tear, this booklet would be a solid EX.

Pictures shown are of the actual module for sale.
