Foreign Legion - Moulay Ishmael

The sun beat down on the column. The men of the foreign legion were grumbling under the burden of their wool uniforms. Sweat poured down their backs. They shifted their muskets - The eyes searched the hills on either side of the pass as they moved into the valley. They knew they were vulnerable and, worse than that, they knew their officers were ignoring this fact.

The Arabs attacked when the column was in the middle of the valley. At first it appeared as if this was merely a small force of Arabs, and the foreign legion companies deployed to drive them from their positions. Then like a thunderbolt the Arab cavalry struck.

A game of hit- and-run tactics in the early 1800's which focuses on the timing of guerilla warfare and the risk versus reward calculations that must be made. May be played independantly or in conjunction with Macta.
