Explore the historical tactics of the day to find the best way to win. Use cavalry to raid the enemy supply depots and conduct reconnaissance to determine the best place to strike and then engage the enemy head on and watch the epic push and pull of battle unfold in front of you. • Production, including supply production, is fully under player control, although they may be turned over to the AI when first learning the game or for those who prefer to focus only on battles.
• Monthly turns makes for good PBEM play (the full war is less than 48 turns which is enough to provide detail but not so many as to become unplayable).
• Detailed Political Point system tracks popular support for each government and impacts the players’ ability to wage war.

• Database with 1000 Historical Leaders with rules for leader activation.
• Leader skill ratings determine the movement points of attached units and their effectiveness in attack and defense and training by type.
