Draven Von Drekill - Urban Warrior

Some dwarfs treat their mutagenic nature as a curse, while others accept it as a fact of life in the 21st century. Draven is among those who have embraced their genetic status and the heritage it represents. Draven wants to represent "dwarf-ness" in word, appearance and deed, acting as an exemplary specimen of his race.

Draven was born of human parents in 2011, one of the first UGE babies. Distanced from his parents by his genetic change, Draven embraced the semi-historical nature of the dwarfs, including the traditional dwarven virtues: dedication, professionalism, independence, hard work, heroics and a taste for cold, hard cash. With these virtues (and the lack of opportunities for metahumans while he was growing up), it was natural that Draven would find work in the gray world of shadowrunning.

These virtues have served the dwarf well in shadowrunner society. Draven has traveled the world and has made (and lost) three fortunes in his life. Each time he has made a big score, he acquired a big house up on Queen Anne Hill, a top-of-the-line security system and a trophy (dwarf) wife. And each time, he blew the money, lost the house and got a messy divorce. Now he's back in a small apartment in the Elven District at the south end of Lake Union, looking to rebuild his nest egg one more time.

Tactics and Secrets:
Speedy and stunning, Draven Von Drekill fills an odd niche on your Shadowrun team. Able to get into position and dodge with the best of them, he also doubles as a stun expert, with his Flash Pack that provides three blue 4-siders. Toss in a few of those with two yellow 6-siders from his Battlestaff or a yellow 8-sider from his Ceska vz/120, and the opposition will either scramble for their dodge dice or pray for bad karma. His high defense value will encourage you to throw him into the battle right away.
