Description

Please note that this is a DTP (Desk Top Publishing) game designed on a desktop computer and all components, including the counters which will have to be cut and mounted, are printed on paper. These are designed by some very well-known designers and are a low cost alternative to today's professionally produced games. On rare occasions, some of these games are reproduced by other companies with higher quality components including die-cut counters but most of them are not. If you believe this game to have a professionally produced version, please contact us with your inquiry and we will help you to locate it if it does indeed exist.

This game covers the Polish/Jewish uprising in Warsaw and the military operations in the immediate environs east of the city in August, 1944, which became the last German Panzer victory when the Russian 3rd Tank Corps was trapped and destroyed!

The Polish uprising is covered in detail and the game shows why the Russians could not simply take the city from the east bank. The game uses the same game system as Into the Bear Trap (The game in issue 10 of Against The Odds).

The map scale in about 400 yards/hex on the Warsaw map and 1 mile on the East of Warsaw map. Each combat unit is a battalion unless otherwise designated. A game turn represents 3 days. The game is 17 turns long.

2 maps, 350+ counters that have to be mounted and cut-out.
