Tikrit Heavy Cruiser

If the Dilgar questioned one aspect of their newly developed strike cruisers, it was their destructive force. They were not weak vessels by any means, but to the Dilgar, brute force is always better and so the heavy cruiser was developed, offering a mass of heavy bolters for only a modest reduction in speed. The Tikrit was, however, the last new ship ever deployed by the Dilgar (though rumors of two planned, if not built, further heavy cruisers persist) and it enjoyed only a few months of action before the Dilgar’s eventual defeat. The Tikrit was, however, prized by the Dilgar and so despite its relative youth and short tenure, the ship was seen in considerable numbers during some of the bloodiest engagements of the war.
