Incursion

Incursion is a trial by fire for new WARS Player Characters. This incredibly action-packed scenario will introduce new players (and new Games Masters) to the exciting and turbulent Solar System of the WARS Roleplaying Game, a fast-paced and ever-changing adventure that will give beginning Player Characters a chance to make a name for themselves.

From the creaking, dripping Cellar of Themis Station to the brutal cold of space to the ruined bridge of an enormous derelict battleship, the Player Characters will pick their way through a plotline rife with danger but with very few clear paths. They might make and break alliances, turn enemies to their side or find themselves staring down the barrel of a gun at someone they thought was a friend.

The immersive and multi-layered plotline of Incursion takes place in perhaps the most perilous region of the Solar System – the territory claimed by the Mavericks, and offers Player Characters a wealth of choices and options as to how to go about their business. Each choice the Player Characters make will have a dramatic effect on the remainder of the scenario, allowing them to resolve the plot in any manner they choose. There is no "correct" way for the Player Characters to act in Incursion, no need for the Games Master to urge them in any direction. Whether as heroes or monsters, they will find their way.

Incursion is a 48-page adventure intended for a group of 1st level Player Characters. By the end of the scenario, they will have advanced to 3rd or 4th level.
