Description

Pantin Nocturne is a board game that middle-class and wealthy inhabitants of Kanas play at nightfall. This game was first developed by a Gnath Emperor in order to amuse his court. Forgotten for several centuries, only a few Echos still play it. A few years ago, a KhaBhek IES, Nocturnal Game, took up the idea and marketed it. Aside from the profit, the goal of this IES, very socially involved, is to give everyone the opportunity to meet at high density Nocturnal parties, to embellish their evenings and drive back the Dream. The Gnaths, the Odwoans, the more intellectual Volkos and the Frilins are the more inclined to play this type of game. On the other hand, more and more people get something out of it: inns hold friendly competitions, and within two years, on the third platform of Ulumbediare, this game has already become a tradition, with its legendary figures and particular stories. According to tradition, the Puppets are built by anyone following a single rule: the figurines are only dummies, puppets, and must be "aware of it". Giving them an appearance too precise, too real, without the knowledge of their puppet status, because of the Dream-time play, could be dangerous. Some puppets are known to have Awakened one evening where they "had been played" for a long time, and escaped the ropes and strings attached to their arms and legs are usually used to this end. Characteristics: - The game is played on an eight-by-eight board, with 4 to 12 Puppets depending on the game mode, and does not require any die. - The game is played 1 on 1, with the possibility of playing 2 on 2.- The figurines may represent Brotherhoods, Factions, businesses having created their own team, an Echo group, tamed creatures real or Nocturnal - mercenaries, etc. - The player may choose a pre-built team or create his own from various teams or figurines sold separately. - A game usually takes between 15 and 30 minutes. - A modern game system, allowing multiple variables, as well as a unique character evolution system, giving the characters new powers during the game or campaign, are the basics of the chosen game mechanics. Pantin Nocturne will be a supplement for Mechanical Dream Players, as we will include new rules and references for characters, jobs, new equipments, etc. developed for Pantin Nocturne in complete compatibility with Mechanical Dream.
