Power Projection Escort

POWER PROJECTION: ESCORT is a stand-alone starship combat game for Traveller. It uses the popular Full Thrust game engine, adapted for Traveller, and combines this with elements of classics like the original Book 2 Starships combat rules, High Guard, Mayday and Battle Rider.

POWER PROJECTION: ESCORT focuses on the smaller ships below ten thousand displacement tonnes. These ships are fragile, vulnerable to enemy fire, but capable of causing massive damage to other ships in the same class. They are the work horses for the frontiers, involved in border skirmishes,showing the flag, and dealing with the ever present pirate menace.

This 30-page book contains comprehensive rules for simple and quick vector movement, all non-spinal weapons, defenses like sand and nuclear dampers, 14 Zhodani and Imperial starships and two pages of (black and white) counters. There are four introductory scenarios in the book, and a typical battle with will last an hour to an hour and a half.
