Clyde Caldwell is a fantasy illustrator who is best known for his portrayal of strong, sexy female characters. He has produced hundreds of cover paintings for everything from books to video games. A small sampling of his credits include works for: Ace, Avon, Doubleday, Houghton-Mifflin, Heavy Metal Magazine, The Savage Sword of Conan, and last but not least, numerous works for TSR including Dragon Magazine and Dungeon Magazine as well as numerous D&D products from the early 80's to the early 90's. Those works include the covers for the Gazetteer and Ravenloft lines.
